By accessing and using KangaQuiz ("the App"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

These Terms of Service apply to all users of the App, including without limitation users who are browsers, customers, and/or contributors of content.

2. Description of Service

KangaQuiz is an educational application designed for primary school students to practice and improve their knowledge through interactive quizzes. The App provides:

• Educational quiz content across various subjects
• Progress tracking and performance analytics
• AI-powered performance analysis (Premium feature)
• Personalized learning recommendations

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the App, you must register for an account. When creating an account, you must:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your password
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or remove content in our sole discretion.

4. Subscription Terms

KangaQuiz offers subscription plans that provide access to premium features:

• Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• Payment: Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation
• Renewal: Renewal charges occur within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period
• Management: You can manage subscriptions in your Account Settings
• No Refunds: No refunds for unused portions of subscription periods

Prices are subject to change with notice. Continued use after price changes constitutes acceptance of new pricing.

5. Content and Intellectual Property

All content provided through KangaQuiz, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Altaris Group Pty Ltd or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission
• Use our content for commercial purposes
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices

6. User Content and Conduct

Users may generate content through quiz responses and progress data. By using the App, you grant us a license to use this data to:

• Provide and improve our services
• Generate performance analytics
• Create personalized recommendations

You agree not to use the App to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on others' rights
• Transmit harmful or offensive content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of KangaQuiz is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users, especially given our primary audience of children.

We comply with applicable data protection laws including COPPA and GDPR where applicable. Parental consent may be required for users under 13.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including:

• Breach of these Terms
• Harmful or illegal activities
• Extended periods of inactivity
• Request by law enforcement

Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via the App or email.

Your continued use of the App following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
